David began his career in 1989 and quickly advanced through leadership roles, including managing Residential Lending at Meridian Capital Group. In 1999, he founded FM Home Loans and has since grown the company into one of the region's leading retail mortgage lenders, distinguished by its reputation for trust, integrity, affordability, and client-centric solutions.
His leadership proved particularly valuable during the 2008 financial crisis, where his resilience and deep understanding of market cycles enabled FM Home Loans to not only survive but thrive during economic uncertainty. This experience reinforced his long-term perspective on serving first-time homebuyers, diverse communities, and families throughout their homeownership journey.
Throughout his career, David has championed affordable housing initiatives and worked to break down barriers that prevent families from achieving homeownership. He has consistently advocated for innovative financing solutions that make homeownership more accessible to working families and underserved markets.
David maintains an active, hands-on approach to leadership at FM Home Loans, personally overseeing operations from origination and underwriting to marketing and capital markets. This direct involvement ensures the company remains aligned with its core mission of delivering accessible, transparent, and client-focused home financing solutions that make homeownership both attainable and affordable
